I mentioned last week that all of us girls were learning to sew at Sally's. Also, that Cassidy was learning to knit, with homespun yarn from Sally's goats, no less. Shortly before Christmas, Cassidy made a scarf, her first-ever knitted project. The sweater she is wearing above is her second. I think it's amazing. Cables and all. I certainly couldn't do it. She finished today while I was pulling out some thread I mis-sewed on the jumper I'm making. I watched her knit the neck with four needles while I waited my turn for Sally to help me navigate a pocket. Perhaps someday I'll have a picture of my own to show, but for now I'm quite proud of these!
If Cassidy ever knits hats I will definitely buy one!

You are so lucky to have such a talented daughter. I bet the rest have wonderful talents as well. It is a shame that someone else is missing all this. Some people don't know what they have until it is gone and even then aren't smart enough to know that it is gone. :) I'm glad that YOU are a smart person.
