Fr. Calloway

Former atheist, drug addict, womanizer, Fr. Calloway at one of the lowest points in his life, picked up a book on Mary and sought out a priest for answers.  Ten years later, the former high school drop-out had completed his education and joined the Marians of the Immaculate Conception.  Yesterday, he came to our Cathedral and talked about his conversion story, the importance of a Marian devotion, and the importance of Divine Mercy.

Fr. Calloway and I have a lot in common.  Ironically, I have spoken in my own book about how the Divine Mercy Shrine in Stockbridge, MA had played a large part in my own faith and conversion story.  Father Calloway's mother was married three times before she became Catholic.  Father, as the eldest son, battled addiction and spent time in jail.  Cassidy asked him to especially pray for her oldest brother.  Miracles do happen.  There have been several in my own life, hopefully there is still room for more in our family.
