It was a gorgeous day on the grounds of the seminary in Cheshire. The folks from Circle Press, The National Catholic Register, and Faith & Family gathered for lunch and laughter and talked me into going to the Catholic Writer's Conference in Valley Forge, PA next week. How could I refuse? My book will be featured there, for one thing, and Faith & Family was kind enough to give me a 5-page spread in the latest edition of the magazine due out in a couple of weeks. Besides, all of these fine people will be going, too!
That's Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle, Dan Burke, me, my awesome friend and fellow author, Leticia Velasquez, Fr. Owen Kearns, and Claudia Volkman. Fr. John Bartunek, Celeste and Michael Behe, and Tom and Lynn Wehner who were in attendence today will also be speaking next week, it should be an amazing time. I will get to see my friend Susie Lloyd speak about negative criticism, and meet in person, Chuck and Sherry! I can't wait!
I'm so excited you're going to make it after all!! Chuck and I can not wait to meet you!
ReplyDeletePrivileged and delightful company that! I am so glad you work with them!!!!:0) Good luck at the conference!
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for a long while. Each night as soon as I get online, the first thing I do is to go to your blog for updates. What a wonderful surprise tonight to see my sister Donna sitting at the table with you. I am so happy that you two know each other. I have been praying for you each night and I know that you and your family will be okay. With God on your side, how can you not be?
ReplyDeleteHave fun in PA!
Color me greeeeeen. Thankfully, I'll be in the confessional in a few hours.
ReplyDeleteNow, that looks lovely...and a nice contrast to last week!
